Today is the first day of what is hopefully a long trip that ultimately ends in Ohio, where I am visiting family and attending the International Harvester Nationals 2011 in Springfield, which is but an hour away. Even though the title of this trip is "IH Nationals," it is definitely not the highlight of the trip; rather, visiting family and getting into a different place is the highlight.

The first stop I will make is Bumberas, a 4X4 shop in Katy on my way to Sherwood Forest outside of Austin. It's something to do, as I don't want to arrive at the campgrounds at the hottest point in the day. I want to find out what their fabrication skills are as far as body work and customization goes. Just for the far future...
